Why Ukraine Top Target is Berislav Bridgehead
The Berislav Bridgehead which is 56.3 km east of Kherson city is the main Russian bridgehead across the Dnipro River. The bridgehead served by military pontoon ferries crosses the two-mile river in order to feed ammunition supplies and fresh troops to Russian forces .

The retired US Army General says that if Russian troops fall back it’ll be hard for them to get back across the very wide river to escape . Experts say that if ukrainian troops can fight all the way to Berislav and dislodge the Russian lodgement Putin troops may be forced to retreat . Russian airstike have targeted the settlement of Sukhy Stavok which may indicate that Ukrainian forces have advanced towards Berislav .
Ukraine May Face a Bigger Russian Defensive in Berislav
Expert say Kyiv army has the advantage of intact supply lines better morale and impressive American-made weaponry . However experts believe that the Russian forces have more infantry and tanks in the Kherson region .
