Musk denies report but admits speaking to Putin 18 months ago 

                    

Elom musk has been mired in controversies since he offered a peace plan amid Ukraine war. Ukraine vehemently decried the billionaire peace deal that would have seen the war-torn country territory permanently ceded to Russia .

It is now being alleged that musk spoke with Russian president before tweeting his proposal . As per Eurasia Group Musk directly spoke Putin and listened to his conditions to end the war .

Eurasia Group head Ian Bremmer in a mailout to subscribes said Putin told musk that Russia war prepared to negotiate on the condition that Crimea remained with Moscow .

Musk I have spoken to Putin only once about space and that was about 18 months ago . Last week elon Musk tweeted a peace plan and a twitter poll amid Russia invasion of Ukraine suggesting referendums in the annexed territories be redone .
