Japan Govt been keeping a tab on Russian and Chinese warships operating in the vicinity . A Russian submarine along with two navy's ships recently transited the LA Perouse strait .

L a Perouse Strait- INT’L Waterway which divides Russia Sakhalin and Japan hokkaido. Moscow halted peace talks with Japan over Tokyo sanctions in the wake of Ukraine war.
