Ukraine is pressuring its supporters in particular the US to provide more military aid .  This is Russia steps up strikes on Ukraine energy infrastructure  across the country .

Ukraine is seeking advanced equipment such as patriot missiles and F-15 warplanes . Ukraine said it recorded 111 Russian missile strikes and 26 Kamikaze drones just on Tuesday.

When Russia invaded in Feb Ukraine air defense largely consisted of soviet-era planes and missiles systems which Kyiv used effectively to deny Moscow air superiority .

But no air defense system can block all attacks as demonstrated by strikes knocking out power to millions f people on Tuesday and Ukraine is seeking additional aid .

Ukrainian FM Dmytro Kuleba said that he is convinced that the time for patriots has come . Ukraine has also sought after F016 warplanes earlier in the week along with F-15 fighters .
