Russian president has hinted at treading the path of diplomacy to end the war in Ukraine .Putin said that he wants an end to the war in Ukraine which he began on Feb 24. Putin made the comments a day after the US pres hosted Volodymr Zelensky in the white house .

Russia has persistently said it is open to talks but sought security guarantees from the west . Ukraine says Russia must halt its attacks and give up all territory it has been seized .Putin i have said many times the intensification of hostilities leads to unjustified losses .
