Putin Ally Belarus Dares NATO Amid Ukraine War 

Belarus “Surprise”combat drills in NATO backyard 

Ukraine warns threat from Russia aligned neighbor 

Belarus has launched a surprise military combat exercise amid ongoing Ukraine war . Russia ally Belarus said the combat drills aims to check readiness of its armed forces .

The drills were ordered by Belarus president and Putin close ally Alexander Lukashenko . Belarus during drills troops had to get the designated areas as fast as possible .

Belarus troops also built bridge crossings across Neman and Berezina rivers .

Neman rivers runs along the polish border whereas Berezina flows east of capital Minsk .

Ukraine leadership said that they will be closely monitoring the Belarus military drills . Belarus share a border with Ukraine and NATO members Poland , Lativa and Lithuania .

Kyiv has raised concerns about Russia ally Belarus plan to enter Ukraine war. Minsk too accused neighboring Ukraine of “Planning to conduct a strike’ on Belarus . Remember before launching the offensive in Feb Moscow held military drills in Belarus .
