10 killed several injured in new year blast in Afghan capital
Taliban orders probe cause of blast unclear
An explosion outside the military airport in Kabul on sunday has cause multiple casualties . At least 10 people were killed and 8 other seriously injuried in the explosion . Taliban administration did not specify nature or target to the blast but said probe was ordered .
Locals said loud explosion was heard near the military side of the heavily fortified airport / They said that the rea had been sealed off by security forces and all roads had been closed . No one or group has claimed responsibility for the attack as of yet .
Even though taliban claim to have improved security since storming to power in August 2021. A number of Kyiv locations in Kabul including Russian and Pakistani embassies have been targeted .
There have been scores of bomb blasts including attacks on Afghanistan minority communities .
The taliban run-admin has been faced with bloody insurgency waged by Islamic state group .
