China Spring Festival
China spring Festival travel rush the largest annual human migration worldwide . Started on Jan 7 and will last 40 days . According to railway department passenger trip during the 40-day Spring Festival travel rush this year are expected to surge 99.5% from the same period last year to reach nearly 2.1 billion.
An estimation of 6.3 million trips were handled by railway departments nationwide on Jan 7. The ministry of transport forecasted that the average daily flow on expressway nationwide will be about 31 million vehicles up 3.4% year on year.
The civil aviation authorities have arranged 11,000 passenger flights daily about 73% of that in the travel rush period of 2019.
