Washington: The American newspaper claimed that Pakistan's general elections will be delayed until next year.

The foreign journal has said in its report that the Pakistani government wants to hold general elections based on the results of the new census and according to the new census, the population of Pakistan has increased by 16% in the last 6 years.

According to the journal, the Election Commission will have to prepare new lists of constituencies by adding new voters.

On the other hand, former Secretary of the Election Commission Kanwar Dilshad has said that due to the work of new constituencies, it is not possible to hold the elections before February 15 of next year.
