The UAE is developing a 'Cyber Security Vision' to address the next 50 digital crimes.
Cyber Security Council Chairman Dr. Muhammad Al Kuwaiti said that this initiative will increase the capacity to deal with digital challenges.
He said that in 2071 it will be 100 years since the establishment of the UAE, so we need to pause and review where the world will have been by then and how we can use technology. .
He said that technological innovations include artificial intelligence, bio-engineering, quantum computing, space technology, robotics, smart manufacturing etc.
The Cyber Security Council was established by the UAE Cabinet in November 2020. This council is responsible for legislation to strengthen cyber security.
According to cyber security company Kaspersky, the number of fraudulent emails in the UAE increased by 77% in the second quarter of this year.
