Asian Games Cricket: Pakistan women's team defeated in bronze medal match

 In the Asian Games cricket competition, the Pakistan women's team lost in the bronze medal match.

Bangladesh women's team won the bronze medal by defeating Pakistan by 5 wickets, Bangladesh achieved the target of 65 runs for 5 wickets in the 19th over.

Nasherah Sindhu of Pakistan took 3 wickets by giving 10 runs, Shoorna Akhtar of Bangladesh scored 14 runs while Shamima Sultana scored 13 runs. Pakistan women team could only score 64 runs for 9 wickets in 20 overs, Pakistan's Alia Riaz was the top scorer by scoring 17 runs.

Nida Dar scored 14 runs, Sadaf Shams scored 13 runs and Natalia Parvez scored 11 runs. Sharna Akhtar of Bangladesh Women took 3 wickets while Sanjedya Akhtar took 2 wickets. The two-time gold medalist Pakistan Women's team failed to win a medal this time.
