Andrew Schoffer, co-hosting the second Green Shipping Round Table Conference, called for meaningful engagement and dialogue to address common challenges, especially climate change.
The Round Table Conference on Green Shipping was organized in collaboration with the Pakistan Regional Economic Integration Activity (PREIA) with funding from the US Agency for International Development (USAID). The conference was attended by government officials, business community and key figures from the shipping value chain.
The topic of this conference was how to promote environment friendly and sustainable shipping in Pakistan. The conference also endorsed the methodology developed at COP 28 to meet the green shipping challenge.
