Biden's phone contact with leaders of key Western countries

Israel has stepped up its attacks on Gaza, while US President Joe Biden has contacted the leaders of major Western countries on the phone.

According to the White House, the US president discussed the Israeli-Palestinian war with the leaders of Great Britain, Canada, France, Germany and Italy. The White House did not release further details of the discussion.
