Defeated in the second warm-up match, bowling and opening before the World Cup started to scare Pakistan

 KARACHI: Australia won the World Cup warm-up match against Pakistan by 14 runs. Thus, before the start of the World Cup mission on Friday, Pakistan had to face defeat in both the matches in Hyderabad. Bad bowling and opening started to scare Pakistan. . 


The team will play the first match against the weak opponent Netherlands. On Tuesday, Australia won the toss and scored 351 runs for seven wickets while batting first. In response, the Pakistani team was bowled out for 337 runs in 47.4 overs. Babar Azam played an innings of 90 runs off 59 balls and was retired. He hit two sixes and eleven fours. Iftikhar Ahmed scored 83 runs off 85 balls with the help of four sixes and six fours. Australia's fielding was bad. Muhammad Nawaz scored 50 runs off 42 balls. Fakhar Zaman 22, Imamul Haq 16, Abdullah Shafiq 12, Shadab Khan 9, Salman Agha 10, Osama Mir 15 and Hasan Ali 16 were out by scoring runs. Earlier in the Australian innings, fast bowler Haris Rauf scored 97 in 9 overs, Shadab Khan, who replaced Babar as captain, scored 69, Muhammad Wasim scored 63 and Muhammad Nawaz took one wicket by giving 34 runs in 6 overs. Osama Mir got two wickets by giving 31 runs in 5 overs. Muhammad Rizwan was rested and replaced by Haris, who was included in the traveling reserve, kept the wicket.

Harris dropped the catch and also did substandard capping. Shaheen Shah Afridi and Hasan Ali gave 25 and 23 runs respectively in six overs without taking a wicket. David Warner and Mitchell Marsh made a partnership of 83 runs for the first wicket, David Warner was caught out by Osama Mir by Haris Rauf, he scored 48 runs in 33 balls with the help of 3 sixes and 4 fours. Osama Mir also walked Mitchell Marsh for 31 runs in his second over. Marnis Labushin, who made 40 runs off 31 balls, was dismissed by Mohammad Nawaz. In the very next over, Haris Rauf guided Steven Smith to the pavilion for 27 runs. Australia scored 155 runs for 4 wickets in the first 25 overs. Glenn Maxwell scored 77 runs off 71 balls with the help of 4 fours and 6 sixes and became the catch of Babar Azam off the ball of Shadab Khan. Josh Inglis scored 48 runs in 30 balls with 8 fours and a six, he was dismissed by Mohammad Wasim.
