Ecuador: 35-year-old Daniel Nobua elected the country's youngest president

 35-year-old Daniel Noboa won the presidential election of the South American country of Ecuador, he is the youngest president of the country.



Daniel Noboa has been declared the winner by the Election Authority, while the socialist rival Luisa Gonzalez has also congratulated him, conceding defeat.


National Democratic Movement candidate Daniel Noboa got 52.28 percent of the votes, while leftist People's Revolution candidate Luisa Gonzalez got 47.72 percent of the votes.


Nubowa has vowed that tomorrow we will begin work to rebuild a country that has been deeply affected by violence, corruption and hatred.
