On Monday in the UK, protesters from the Just Stop Oil climate change action group damaged the glass cover of a painting at London's National Gallery.
Two protesters in their early twenties were arrested after using safety hammers to smash the glass cover of the 17th-century painting.

Dozens of other Just Stop Oil activists who were blocking roads in nearby Whitehall were also detained. The painting, "Rokeby Venus" by Diego Velazquez was previously damaged in 1914 after being slashed by Canadian suffragette Mary Richardson.
