The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) arrested a Nigerian-Saudia passenger on a fake Italian visa at Karachi Immigration.
The spokesperson of FIA says that the visa pages of the passport of accused Naeem Akhtar belonging to Hafizabad were tampered, the accused went to Nigeria on Pakistani passport and original visa.
The spokesman said that the accused obtained a visa to Italy from an agent based in Nigeria for Rs 22 lakh, the accused tried to go to Italy on a fake visa from Nigeria.
He said that the accused came from Nigeria to Saudi Arabia and then to Pakistan due to having a fake visa. On reaching Saudi Arabia, the accused tore the fake visa on his passport.
The FIA spokesperson also says that the accused has been transferred to Anti-Human Trafficking Circle Karachi for further legal action.
