Magnitude 6.7 earthquake off Philippines coast

 A magnitude 6.7 earthquake has hit the Pacific Ocean off the coast of the Philippines.

According to the US Geological Survey, the depth of the earthquake was 70 kilometers and the epicenter was 100 kilometers southeast of Serengeti province.

The US Geological Survey says no tsunami alert was issued after the earthquake.
