Former international empire Rudy Kurtzen has died at aged 73 after car crash in his home country in South Africa. Kurtzen was part of the icc's elite panel from 8 years to 2002 . He had gone to play golf in Cape Town with his friend and while returning to the town of dispatch his car met with an accident killing all four passengers on the vehicle .
The South African officiated 331 International matches record at the time of his retirement in 2010 which has since been broken by Pakistan Alimdar along the West Indies team but now as well and quadzin is one of the three empires to stand in over 100 test tribute they have poured in for kurzen who was extremely popular among cricket has a host of sports legends including the likes of Sachin Tendulkar Jack Alice have paid their respects .
