Iran-Russia ties are strengthening despite west sanctions warning amid Ukraine war . The Islamic republic has now announced a contract to supply turbines to Russia .
Iran will send 40 turbines to help Russia gas industry amid west sanctions on Moscow . Though it is not clear when the contract was signed or what the delivery deadlines was .

Iranian Turbines For Russia After Drones
Currently 85% of the facilities and equipment needed by the gas industry are built inside the country and based on this capability , a contract has recently bee signed to export 40 Iranian-made turbines to Russia .
Iran industrial successes are not limited to the fields of missiles and drones . In recent years US has widely set up LNG production plants and recently with all-out embargo on Russia and then the explosion in the Nord Stream gas pipeline it effectively eliminated one of its biggest competitors in gas exports .
Iran move comes amid Russia reductions or halting of energy supplies Europe. This the following the imposition of sanction over the Kremlin offensive in Ukraine .

Russia and Iran hold some of world largest gas reservers and are both under US sanctions .
