Russian military is recruiting afghan special forces soldiers to fight in Ukraine . The afghan soldiers fought alongside American troops till the Taliban return to Kabul .


The elite group of Afghan soldiers was trained by US Navy seals and Army green berets . They had fled to Iran after the Chaotic US withdrawal from Afghanistan last year .

3 Former afghan generals told his the associated press about Russia latest recruitment . They said that the Russians want to attract thousands of the former afghan commandos into a foreign legion with offers of a steady $1500 monthly remuneration .


Russian military has also promised safe heavens for the commandos and their families . The job guarantees that their families will not be deported back to the hands of Taliban .
