Ukraine president reveals what PM Modi told him
Amid Russia-Ukraine war, Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky dialled PM Narendra Modi.
Zelensky has now revealed what PM Modi told him during the phone conversation .
The Ukrainian president pressed India to be more active to end the conflict.

Today I spoke with the Prime Minister of India next year , It will be India that will preside over the G20. I wished Mr Modi a fruitful presidency and fruitful not for someone in particular but for everyone in the world who values peace . India can be more active in efforts to end aggression . So I hope we can do more together for global stability in the coming year .”
Zelensky in a tweet soon after the call had said he counted on New Delhi support for the implementation of his peace formula which he had proposed on the G20 platform . On the other hand Indian prime minister office noted that pm modi strongly reiterated his call for an immediate cessation of hostilities between Ukraine and Russia .
He said both sides should revert to dialogue and diplomacy to find a lasting solution . Modi also requested that the Ukrainian authorities facilitate arrangements for the continued education of the Indian students who had to return earlier this year .
PM Modi also conveyed India support for any peace effort and assured the Ukrainian president of India commitment to continue providing humanitarian assistance . PM Modi call with Zelensky comes 10 days after he spoke with Russian president .
PM Modi had told Vladimir Putin to resolve Ukraine conflict diplomatically . Since Ukraine conflict began in Feb , Modi has spoken to Putin and Zelensky several times . India is yet to condemn the Russian invasion of Ukraine and has been maintaining that the crisis must be resolved through diplomacy and dialogue .
