Strict Covid rules for flyers from China has infuriated Xi Jinping administration . China has vowed to take countermeasures after the United States & other countries tightened their Covid rules for those traveling from China .
Xi Jinping govt called it a bid to target Beijing and achieve political goals. The US slammed China warning and said there was no cause for retaliation .

Sharp rhetoric regarding the restrictions over covid by Beijing are needless. There is no cause for retaliation and countries are simply taking prudent health measures to protect their citizens . Several countries such as the US , UK , Australia & Italy have imposed rules . The EU has said an overwhelming majority of the bloc 27 members would also like to follow suit on Covid restrictions to check the rise in cases .
India too has made Covid negative report mandatory for travelers from China . The restrictions were imposed after China witnessed sudden spike in Covid cases .
