Germany 'laments' after Putin warns of 'burning tanks' sent to Ukraine by U.S.-led West

Germany “Laments” clearing tanks for Ukraine? no joy over tank supplies to Kyiv says German defense minister. Putin fear makes Berlin Jittery over tank trigger.

Russian president Vladimir Putin as unleashed a “Whirlfire” on Ukraine ever since German government cleared tanks supply to Kyiv. The rise in aggression seems to have made Berlin lament its decision.

German defense minister said there is no joy over tank supplies to Ukraine. The minister even hinted at possible divide within Germans over the move.

Germany Lamenting Tanks Trigger?

There is nothing to be joyful about tanks supply to Ukraine please understand its war . Few issues have caused differences of opinion within German society. The deliberations show how difficult such a decision is . I have little sympathy for those who would happily shout “Hallelujah” over the fact that tank deliveries are going to happen.

We are talking about a war and nothing about it is pleasant. It is a matter of war and a matter of trust. ( German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius)

The comments came as Germany announced that the tanks Berlin pledged to Kyiv earlier this week would most likely arrive in Ukraine in late March or early April. Berlin vowed to provide a company seized tank force from bundeswehr stocks comprising 14 Leopard 2A6 tanks one of the latest versions of the combat vehicle.

Berlin also said it would allow other nations with German -made heavy equipment in stock to send them to Ukraine battlefield as well. The German minister defended the “Delay” alleged by Ukraine in clearance .

On January 25 the US also announced plans to send 31 of its M1 ABRAMS Tanks . Russia responded to the development by saying that tank deliveries by western nations suggested that NATO direct involvement in the conflict is growing .

Moscow has repeatedly warned that the west continued arms supplies to Ukraine risks a direct confrontation between NATO and Russia
