Putin justifies Ukraine war to protect its motherland
Moscow accuses west of lying and provoking Russia
Vladimir Putin has once again justified Russia special military operation in Ukraine. Russian president said Russia was fighting in Ukraine to protect its motherland . Putin in a nine minute long new year address accused west of lying and provoking Russian federation to launch special military operation in Ukraine.
Putin added that the Ukraine war will secure true independence for its people. Putin we would never give in to west attempt to use Ukraine as a tool to destroy Russia. Putin made this speech in front of Russian service personnel at south military district HQ.
Putin Lambasts West On Ukraine War
For years western elites hypocritically assured us of their peaceful intentions. In fact every possible way they were encouraging neo-nazis who conducted open terrorism against civilians in the Donbas.
The west lied about peace . It was preparing for aggression and now they are cynically using Ukraine and its people to weaken and split Russia. We have never allowed this and will never allow anybody to do this to us. ( Vladimir Putin Russian President)
In past Kyiv and west have rejected Moscow claims on the start of Ukraine conflict. Ukraine and west accuse Russia of starting baseless war to seize Ukrainian territory . Russia special military operation in Ukraine has been going for over 10 months. Till now Russian forces does not control four regions of Ukraine annexed in Sept 2022 .
