Russian strikes on a Ukrainian restaurant kill at least four people and injure 42 others.

Russian rocket strikes have injured 42 people in Ukraine, including a child born in 2022, and claimed the lives of at least four people. The strikes hit a restaurant in Kramatorsk, located in eastern Ukraine, and were fired by two S-300 surface-to-air missiles.

The interior ministry reported that three bodies, including a minor born in 2008, have been recovered from the rubble. Two people died and 42 were injured, including a child. A restaurant and several houses were damaged, and more victims may still be under the rubble.

President Volodymyr Zelensky condemned the missile strikes, stating that S-300 missiles were used to carry out the deadly attacks. The city of Kramatorsk, one of the largest under Ukrainian control in the country's besieged east, was hit by two Russian rockets. Donetsk governor Pavlo Kyrylenko said that two Russian rockets hit the city of 150,000 people.

The strike also caused destruction and damage to nearby buildings, which have often been targeted by Russian forces since the invasion launched by Russia in February 2022. A 19-year-old Ukrainian soldier named "Ghost" was nearby when the strike occurred and quickly entered the restaurant to help rescue workers.
