Wagner's status as an independent force is likely to end as a result of the mutiny deal and Lukashenko's role is humiliating to Putin according to ISW.

 The Institute for the Study of War (ISW) reports that Moscow struggled to coordinate a swift response to Wagner's sudden move. 



The Lukashenko-brokered deal may eliminate the Wagner group as a Prigozhin-led independent actor. President Lukashenko's direct involvement in halting Wagner's advance is seen as humiliating to Putin. The Kremlin is in a deeply unstable situation, with the Lukashenko deal being a short-term fix rather than a long-term solution.
