More Hangama on the Way | Delhi Ordinance Likely in Parliament

This mansom session has been all about acrimony the Manipur turmoil has dropped the parliament virtually holding the proceedings to Ransom.  one day in all likelihood we'll have another stormy session there is another contentious bill that might come up for discussion and that is the Delhi ordinance bill  . 

The proposed government of national capital territory of Delhi Amendment Bill aims to replace the union government's ordinance which was issued to establish an authority responsible for transfers and postings of group a officers in Delhi this ordinance facilitated the creation of the national capital civil services.  

Authority nccsa which was tasked with handling transfers and disciplinary  proceedings of group a officers from the Delhi andaban nicobar dadal nagar haveli Civil Service card government contested this new law arguing that it contradicted the Supreme Court's order from May 11. the Court's previous ruling granted the tele government control over services in Delhi except for police public order and


 land related matters to replace the ordinance the government of national capital territory of Delhi Amendment bill has been introduced with several opposition members in Parliament expressing their intent to oppose it through a statutory resolution when it comes up for discussion the Delhi ordinance has become a focal point for parties aligned with the Indian national developmental inclusive Alliance

 better known as India the union cabinet also approved the government of national capital territory of Delhi Amendment bill which would run the lieutenant governor of Delhi the final same transfers and appointments if any disagreements arise with the nccsa the ordinance promulgated on May 19th effectively reversed a supreme court judgment t hat had granted the capitals

bureaucracy control to delhi's elected government in all matters except policing public order and land this move further intensified the conflict between the ruling ahmadmi party in Delhi and the union government appointed lieutenant governor over administrative control the yamadipati criticized the ordinance as illegal

 unconstitutional and a black law Nationwide to Garner support against the ordinance and sought Clarity from Congress before aligning with the India grouping on July 20th the Supreme Court referred the Delhi government's petition challenging the ordinance to a constitutional bench of five judges however the

 Court's decision to examine the ordinance legality will not impact the introduction or passage of the bill  now all eyes are on the parliament to witness how the drama unfolds around it .
