Action against defaulters along with electricity thieves of LESCO is ongoing, the responsibility of recovery of dues has been handed over to tehsildars.
Spokesperson LESCO says that 4 officers of LESCO have been assigned the responsibilities to support the tehsildars.
On the fourth day of LESCO operation, 248 connections involved in electricity theft were seized The spokesman said that defaulters of Eastern Circle owe Rs. 1.885 billion. 1 billion 8 crore 93 lakh 26 thousand 861 rupees are owed by the defaulters of Sheikhupura circle. 66 crore 79 lakh 66 thousand rupees are to be collected from the defaulters in North Circle. 15 crore 53 lakh 73 thousand 642 rupees are to be collected from the defaulters of Central Circle.
