Pakistan Pediatric Association says that more than one million people in Gaza are at risk of starvation.
This has been said by the Pakistan Pediatric Association in a letter written to the United Nations on the situation in Palestine. The PPA said in the letter that the lack of food in Gaza could lead to a serious humanitarian crisis, with thousands of wounded being treated in Gaza hospitals.
In its letter, the Pakistan Pediatric Association says that there is no water in Gaza and no necessary medical equipment in hospitals. The letter from the PPA further asked the United Nations to use influence for an immediate ceasefire.
The letter of Pakistan Pediatric Association also states that the United Nations has a responsibility to ensure the safety of these affected families.
