World Cup: Pakistan continues to bat against Netherlands

 In the second match of the World Cup, Pakistan is batting against Netherlands.


The Netherlands won the toss and invited Pakistan to bat first at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in the Indian city of Hyderabad.



Pakistan's Fakhar Zaman and Imamul Haq opened the innings, but in 3.4 overs, Pakistan's first wicket fell for 15 runs when Fakhar Zaman was caught out for 12 runs.


Pakistan's second wicket fell for 34 runs in 8.3 overs when captain Babar Azam was caught out for 5 runs. The national team's third wicket fell for 38 runs in 9.1 overs when Imam-ul-Haq was also caught out after scoring 15 runs.

Partnership of Rizwan and Saud


After 3 wickets fell for 38 runs in the match, Mohammad Rizwan and Saud Shakeel formed a wonderful partnership and both the batsmen scored half-centuries. The national team's fourth wicket fell for 158 runs in 28.1 overs when Saud Shakeel was caught out for 68 runs.


Saud Shakeel supported the team with his innings and during that time he played 52 balls and hit 9 fours and a six in his innings. Pakistan's fifth wicket fell at 182 runs when Mohammad Rizwan was bowled after scoring 68 runs in 31.3 overs. Mohammad Rizwan faced 75 balls and hit 8 fours in his innings.


Talking after the toss, Pakistan cricket team captain Babar Azam said that he will start the World Cup well with today's match. Babar Azam said that he will try to score more than 290 or 300 runs. On this occasion, Netherlands captain Scott Edwards said that the pitch will be favorable for batting in the second innings.
