The sinking of a boat in the Tunisian sea has left 40 migrants missing who are still being searched. According to the news agency, the migrants on board the boat to Italy were from Tunisia.
The Tunisian National Guard said in its statement that more information was being gathered about the people on board the boat, all of whom were trying to go to Italy illegally.
It should be noted that illegal immigration from the coast of Tunisia is on the rise despite strict measures by the government.
