Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan has been disqualified by the Election Commission of Pakistan from Tosha Khana, against which Tehreek-e-Insaf has also announced to approach the High Court.
Dunya News said that Imran Khan has been declared ineligible for five years, he was de-seated from the seat of Mianwali.
Well-known journalist Islamuddin Sajid also said that "According to the decision, Imran Khan's disqualification will be for this term only."
Meanwhile, journalist Riyaz-ul-Haq said that "Imran Khan was disqualified, his assembly seat was declared vacant and criminal proceedings were initiated."
