Russia SU-57 Fighter plane has reportedly achieved its first kill by a long-range missile . 5th generation fighter jet shot down a Ukrainian SU-27 Fighter , as per Russian media .

Ukrainian Air Force jet was shot down by an R-37m missile on Oct 13 near porskalevka . The 25x7 airborne warning and control system could not even detect the air-to-air missile.Russian news report it was their SU-57 that most likely downed the Ukrainian jet .

Last week Russian MoD said their air defense systems shot down 1 Ukrainian SU-27 jet . Whether or not it was the SU-57 that launched the missile was not immediately clear . Reports say R-37M At-to-air missiles can be launched from MiG-31 and SU-35 Flank .
