Drone attack amid heightened tensions between Israel and Iran
An oil tanker associated with an Israel Billionaire has been struck by a bomb-carrying drone off the coast of Oman amid heightened tensions with Iran.
The attack happened on Liberian-flagged tanker “Pacific Zircon” carrying gas oil. The attack made a hole at the back of the vessel but it was not put out of service .
Israel-Linked Tanked Attack
The Pacific zircon was hit by a projectile approximately 150 miles off the coast of Oman on November 15 . The vessels hull got damaged but there was no spillage of Cargo or Water ingress. There are no report of injuries and all crew members are safe.( Eastern Pacific Shipping Company)

The Pacific Zircon is operated by Singapore-based Eastern Pacific shipping which is a company ultimately owned by Israeli Billionaire Idan ofer . It is an Iranian attack there is a consensus on this in the Israeli intelligence and defense . It appears that Iran carried out the attack with a Shahed-136 exploding drone. Iran government did not acknowledge the attack on the pacific Zircon .
In 2021 a suspected Iranian drone strike hit the Israeli-associated oil tanker “Mercer Street” off the coast of Oman killing two people onboard.\
