Russia Replenishes Deadly TU-22M3 Strategic Bombers

Russia long-range aviation received a modernized strategic bomber TU-22M3. The TU-22M3 missile carrier was shipped by state defense order tass news agency reported . The bomber underwent tweaks to boost capabilities United aircraft corporation said .
According to Russian media , the Tupolev-22M3 is a modern version of the iconic soviet-era bomber which has been in service since the 1970s. Two nuke-capable TU-160m planes were also submitted for flight tests, RT reported.
One is a modernized version of an existing plane while the other is newly built . It is reportedly part of Russia effort to restart strategic plane manufacturing. UAC’s parent company rostec called TU-160 an important part of Russia nuclear triad .
Rt reported that the TU-160 long-range bombers have been in service since the 1980s. It was reportedly introduced shortly before the collapse of the soviet union. The plane was created to carry long-range nuclear-tipped cruise missile but it is capable of using conventional munitions as well the RT reported .
The inductions of the strategic bombers comes at a time Russia has escalated attacks on Ukraine with “Toughest” fighting going in Bakhmut and Solar.
