Indian Air Force received 36th Rafale aircraft from France dassault aviation . The last aircraft of Rafale fleet was received at air force stationed Hasimara in west Bengal . The IAF 36th Rafale aircraft was welcomed with a water cannon salute .
The aircraft was flown in from France and marks the completion of the delivery of all fighters . India received its first batch of 4.5 generation fighter aircraft in year 2020 . The first Rafale squadron with around 18 jets is based in ambala air base .
PTI reported that Hasimara Air Base now comprises 18 jets in its Rafale squadron . The delivery of the last Rafale to India comes at a time when tensions with China have escalated . India and China troops clashed with each other last week in Tawang sector of Arunachal Pradesh .
