Russia gears up for electronic warfare after Makiivka setback
Moscow to ramp up output of anti-drone systems in few months
Russia is all set to begin mass production of new electronic warfare & drone systems . State owned enterprise Rostec said that mass production and tests of a fundamentally new generation of aviation & ground electronic warfare will start within 1-2 months .
This would include testing & production of combat UAVs the enterprise said on telegram . Rostec added that it is increasing the production volume of arms and special military gear . The Russian defense enterprise will ramp up output of attack and transport choppers .
Rostec will also produce ground , air & sea-based electronic warfare equipment state identifications equipment special purpose measuring equipment and much more . The announcement came days after Ukraine used US-supplied HIMARS to strike a Russian facility in the city of Makiivka on Jan 1 that killed 89 Russian soldiers so far.
