 Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his wife Sophie have announced their separation after 15 years of marriage.

The Canadian Prime Minister and his wife have announced their separation through an Instagram post, saying that despite this decision, their relationship of love and respect will remain. They were married in Montreal in 2005 and have three children.

In a statement, Justin Trudeau's office said the couple had signed a separation agreement but would still be seen together at public events. The statement said that the Prime Minister and his wife have ensured that they have taken all legal and ethical steps regarding their decision and will continue to do so going forward. The statement added that they will go on vacation as a family next week.
