Star footballer Cristiano Ronaldo and other foreign footballers are being considered to be given special SIM cards when they come to Iran.
According to Arab media, this special SIM card will allow foreign footballers visiting Iran to access the Internet without any restrictions.
According to foreign media, Saudi football club Al-Nasr will come to Iran's capital Tehran next week to play an AFC Champions League match with Iranian football club.
Reza Darwish, president of the Iranian Football Club, said in an interview with state TV that some people want to defame us by telling footballers not to go to Iran because they will not have access to the Internet there.
On the other hand, some Iranian citizens on this issue say that offering such services to Cristiano Ronaldo would be an insult and discrimination against their people because local citizens cannot access the full Internet.
According to foreign media, there are many restrictions on the Internet in Iran. Thousands of websites and social media platforms are blocked here.
