The Islamabad High Court reserved its decision on the request to withdraw the appeal against the disqualification of Chairman PTI in the Tosha Khana reference.
Chief Justice of Islamabad High Court Amir Farooq conducted the hearing. Chairman PTI filed an appeal against the decision of Election Commission on 21 October 2022. Chairman PTI later filed an application to withdraw the appeal.

Chief Justice Amir Farooq said that if you want to give any written arguments, then give them, it is a small matter, discuss and finish the matter, the petition that comes can be returned. Chairman PTI's lawyer Ali Zafar said that we want to withdraw this appeal, we are not even discussing it, we are just saying that the request to withdraw the appeal should be accepted.
Application to withdraw appeal against Toshakhana decision of Election Commission scheduled for hearing Chief Justice Amir Farooq said that the issue here is that an application has been filed in another court.
The lawyer of the Election Commission said that there is a decision of the Sindh High Court on this matter, according to the decision of the Sindh High Court, the application can be withdrawn to remove the technical defects. Chairman PTI's lawyer Ali Zafar said that there is no need to discuss it, we have only requested to withdraw the application, whatever decision the court has to take.
The lawyer of the Election Commission read out the decision of the Sindh High Court and said that the petitioner has filed the petition in the Islamabad High Court with his consent, partial arguments have also been made on the petition filed in the Islamabad High Court.

Chairman PTI's lawyer Ali Zafar said that the first petition in the Lahore High Court was not ours but that of a third party. Also challenged the decision of the commission, the Lahore High Court observed that we have to make a choice, the Lahore High Court said that they are not taking any decision regarding the jurisdiction, the court gave the option to the petitioner where he Wants to proceed with the case, a 5-member larger bench has been constituted in Lahore High Court, after the observation of the court, we requested to withdraw the petition here, it is not correct to say that we have here about the petition of Lahore High Court.
