Firing and artillery shelling were also reported between the two sides on the border . Meanwhile the US has recommended its citizens to leave Lebanon amid ongoing tensions .
The US States Department cited unpredictable security situation as the reason for its advisory . The release asked citizens to see flight option at Beirut-Rafic Hariri Airport .
Lebanon has witnessed anti US protest since the outbreak of Israel-Palestine war.

“ You should have a plan of action for crisis situations that does not rely on US Government assistance . The best time to leave a country is before a crisis if at all possible . There is no guarantee the US Government will evacuate private US citizens and their family members in a crisis situation .
