Two days ago , US attacked two Islamic revolutionary guard corps facilities in Syria . US Defense secretary said that the strikes were ordered by president Joe Biden .
The Pentagon said it was in retaliation to attacks against US forces in Iraq and Syria . The US Forces have been attacked at least 16 times this month in Iraq and Syria .
